Official Build Duration Was 19 Hours!!

On August 25, 2006 over 300 people from around Indiana converged on the city of New Whiteland (Greenwood), Indiana. In 19 hours, a 2900 square foot church building complete with an auditorium with seating for around 150 people, 1 nursery, a large pastoral office, completely finished restrooms and a sizeable vestibule.
All utilities, heating and air conditioning, complete with furnishings, that’s right, COMPLETELY finished!!!
Church In A Day is a nationally sponsored program of the United Pentecostal Church International.
Over 300 people from all around Indiana started at 6:30AM on Friday, August 25 through 1:30AM on Saturday when the congregation of Liberty Tabernacle started to move furniture in.
A dedication service was held in the facility on Sunday, August 27 at 10:00AM.
Many Church In A Day projects have been done nationally by the UPCI.
October 2003 one was done in Oakland City, Indiana and May 2005 in Cumberland, Indiana.
All of these projects have been covered by local major media outlets and one project in Texas was on Good Morning America.

Church In A Day is a great feel good story and the community will rally around the unity of the people from our great state helping a small church build their building.

TRY ME NOW AND SEE CHALLENGE

The $100 TRY ME NOW AND SEE CHALLENGE!It's time to dig deep for a great cause. I would like to make a challenge to all of God's people that are interested in the kingdom of God. Could you set aside a $100 for the 1st Spanish Language Church in A day in the State of Texas? Just imagine if we all came together in unity, and voice a challenge to our churches: If 10 people would by faith believe in God to help them give a $100 dollar contribution to build a new church. It would only take 100 churches all giving the same amount, in multiples of 10, and we could present to Pastor Sergio Tinoco of Iglesia Pentecostal Unida of Palestine, Texas a check that would completely build their church and burn the note all at once on March 16-17, 2007. It's time to unite together for the greatest cause on earth; To place a new church in a city to reap the harvest in these end times. With that challenge I would like to be the first to invest in this project, $1000.00 from The Joseph Palacios family to further the kingdom of God, for the glory of Jesus Christ. Is there 99 more churches that would stand up and meet the challenge and sacrificially give $1000.00, or are there 10 in your church that could unite together and give $100.00 apiece? Let the giving begin, and Lord willing we will hand a check to the first Spanish Church in a Day in Texas on March 17, 2007, for $100,000. “If it is to be, it is up to me.” May the Lord bless you for all your giving and sacrifice.
Malachi 3:10
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing, That there will not be room enough to receive it.

Metro Miracle 2005 San Diego

Greetings in His Name. The bible says a good report maketh the bones fat. I would like to convey to you in the next few lines of a few miracles that happen in the Metro Miracle Project in San Diego in Oct of 2005. 4 years of meeting the city and trying to convince them that there needed to be a Spanish Language church in San Diego, Pastor Geno Dominguez with his tenacity and faithful work received his permit to start the project in late Sept. I arrived in early Oct. with one mission in mind. Recast the Vision, Promote, Enroll workers, and raise funds to make this project happen. With the united effort of James Ghiloni, sectional presbyter, Art Hodges III, Regional SW Home Missions Director, Rev. Joel S. Palacios, Texas Spanish Ministries Coordinator, and the Western District and all the workers, labours, that help from the southern district. WE ACCOMPLISHED OUR MISSION.

Here are a few miracles that happen in the project. 44 truck loads of clay fill for the pad and parking lot was donated by local trucking company $15K worth of dirt. Dozers, Back hole digger and other heavy equipment that was used for the project was bill for about $500. for 3 months.( A savings of over 8K) A rental truck for the superintendent was donated by a leasing company for the project. Needing extra funds for the project, the churches of the area, Los Anegles and the Western District stepped up to the plate and sacrificially gave over 70K to project in a 3 week period. An Unbelievable a miracle in a Metro City. And I could go on and on of all the miracles that happen, but time and space will not permit me. ( I need to write a book about this project, because it was truly a miracle project.

Thanks again,

Joseph Palacios
